## Prose
She had been running the same loop for six hours before she noticed the city had stopped pretending. Not a glitch. Not a skip. The geometry simply held its breath.
What it does
Markdown-first
Write the way you think — plain text, structured with markdown. PaperPlain renders as you go.
AI that builds prose
Write your bullet points. PaperPlain's AI turns them into full readable text. Your structure, developed.
Runs in the browser
Nothing to install. Open it, write something. That's the whole setup.
Open source
All of it on GitHub. Use it, fork it, improve it. Built in the open.
Built because I needed it
I wanted a markdown-first, AI-assisted writing tool that ran in the browser. Nothing I found did exactly that — so I built PaperPlain. It started as a Substack writing tool and grew into something more general. It's in alpha right now. Rough edges exist. Beta is close.
Stay in the loop
Updates when things change. No noise.
